Why a plug-in hybrid?

Reasons to opt for a plug-in hybrid.

Technology made simple

What is a plug-in hybrid – All about Mercedes-Benz plug-in hybrid technology.

Drive system components: innovative technology with intelligent interaction for greater efficiency.

Optimized technology for lower consumption

More range. More power. Lower consumption.

Plug-in hybrid models are efficient because they recuperate energy during deceleration and reduce the load on the combustion engine.

Charging & range

Many routes lead to power – charging options.

All charging options at a glance.

The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox (not included, variants depend on market availability) is an intelligent and convenient solution for charging your plug-in hybrid at home. With just one charging contract through the Digital Extra MB.CHARGE Public, Mercedes-Benz offers you access to one of the largest public charging networks in the world, including over 2.5 million charging points. The Mercedes-Benz Charging Hubs are also integrated here.

Ranges.

The electric range varies depending on driving characteristics, route profile and environmental conditions. There is also anticipatory driving with the Eco-Score display, recuperation and the overrun mode function. The intelligent route-based operating strategy achieves a combination of the electric and conventional ranges. Depending on the driving situation, it selects either the electric or conventional drive in order to achieve the best efficiency.
