Its dynamics and temperament are impossible to ignore: the new Mercedes-AMG Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé is captivating at first glance – especially the sporty and elegant Coupé profile with its sensational lines.

One of the most striking exterior features of the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé is without doubt the signature AMG radiator grille: with its vertical fins in high-gloss chrome and the unmistakable AMG logo, it makes it clear straight away what you can expect from a Mercedes-AMG exterior.

The dominant bonnet with its wide, strongly contoured powerdomes is a clear indication of the immense power within the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé.

The new generation of AMG steering wheels in nappa leather have optimum ergonomics for sporty driving manoeuvres. The steering wheels feature a striking 3-spoke design, have a flattened bottom section, and are equipped with Touch Control buttons and aluminium shift paddles. As a finishing touch, the steering wheel bezel boasts the charismatic "AMG" lettering.

The instrument cluster user interface with high-resolution displays is all new and features an AMG-specific design. In addition it is possible to select content such as the RACETIMER, the AMG Start-up menu or the four different display styles: "Classic", "Sport", "Subtle" and AMG-specific "Supersport".

The AMG Performance steering wheels with the optional AMG steering wheel buttons resemble Formula-1 steering wheels for a reason. They give your steering wheel a radically sporty design and allow fast, purposeful control of specific dynamic driving functions. The steering wheel buttons are ergonomically positioned within direct reach – so your hands always remain on the steering wheel. And, thanks to their intuitive functionality, your eyes always remain on the road.

At the heart of the hallmark AMG driving dynamics is the electrified 3.0-litre engine with twin turbochargers and an electric additional compressor. The 6-cylinder in-line engine has an output of 320 kW (435 hp)[1] and peak torque of 520 Nm. Its EQ Boost starter-alternator temporarily delivers an additional 16 kW (22 hp) of output and 250 Nm[1] of torque, and it also feeds the 48-volt on-board electrical system.

The AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL specifically compensates for rolling movements and optimises lateral dynamics during dynamic driving manoeuvres. This results in more precision and agility as well as the hallmark AMG driving experience.

The agile AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive features signature AMG power distribution – for direct response and fully variable torque distribution between front and rear axle. The result: no loss in traction, even when driving dynamically at the limit.

The AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G 9-speed transmission, with particularly short shift times and double-declutching function when downshifting (depending on the selected drive program), awaits your commands.
