As the most powerful series-produced 4-cylinder engine with twin scroll turbocharging, the newly developed high-tech power pack continues in the tradition of its predecessor. It is a true performance champion with 310 kW (421 hp) and 500 Nm, which propels the Mercedes-AMG A 45 4MATIC+ from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. It takes the AMG high-performance brakes with red-painted callipers to tame this sort of power.
