The cab of the new Sprinter Platform Vehicle with its typical Mercedes-Benz radiator trim and modern headlamps is already a visual highlight. The cockpit has also been redesigned and convinces equally with high-quality design and exceptional functionality. For example, with an intelligent, modular stowage compartment concept and KEYLESS START.
In the standard cab there is room for up to 3 persons, while the crewcab even small teams can travel to their destination with up to 7 people. Behind the cab, Sprinter chassis cabs in 3 vehicle lengths provide the adequate basis for many application-specific body and expansion solutions.
Other benefits include the wide range of drive system variants: depending on the operational profile and desired handling characteristics, you can order your Sprinter Chassis Cab with front-wheel, rear-wheel or1 all-wheel drive. Gearshifting is either manual via a 6-speed manual transmission2 or automatic via the 7G-TRONIC PLUS or the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, unique in the segment3.
In order to make work as economical and pleasant as possible, various radios, multimedia systems and connectivity solutions are available for the Sprinter upon request. Depending on requirements, the offer ranges from the smartphone holder to the radio with Bluetooth® interface and hands-free function, as well as the multimedia system with high-resolution touchscreen, fast hard-disk navigation with 3D map display and smartphone integration4. Operation is just the way you want it: simple. The multimedia systems for example, can be operated via the high-resolution touchscreen or Touch Control button on the multifunction steering wheel. All operating and display units are easy to reach and read.
As the modern working world is full of digital solutions, we have equipped the Sprinter with an integral communications module, which forms the technical basis for a continuous internet connection within the vehicle. This allows you to configure vehicles with a permissible GVW of up to 5500 kg. If necessary, a trailer load of up to 5250 kg can additionally be attached – with a permissible gross combination weight of up to 8750 kg. .
With a choice of over 600 items of optional equipment, including special fleet and chassis solutions, the Sprinter Chassis Cab can be adapted even more precisely to your needs. There are Mercedes-Benz VanSolution complete solutions ex factory for special industry requirements and, as part of the "Mercedes-Benz VanPartner" partner program, body and conversion solutions in the dual-invoice transaction process are available in tried-and-tested quality.
The Sprinter Chassis Cab Vehicle is designed for safety throughout. The solid basis for this is formed by its bodyshell, which is particularly stable thanks to its construction and the material composition.
Add to this several assistance systems. After all, even the most experienced driver can get into situations in which support can be welcome and helpful. The range extends from the standard Crosswind Assist to Active Brake Assist and Lane Keeping Assist – the latter two being standard for vehicles with a permissible GVW over 3500 kg. In the dark, the optionally available LED High Performance headlamps illuminate the roadway far and bright.
In case of an emergency, standard airbags help to protect the driver in a collision. 5 further airbags are available for driver and co-driver upon request.

The cockpit with its exceptional 360 degree view is equipped to make a driver's everyday life as pleasant as possible. 5 different driver's seats are available to choose from for this, with which various comfort requirements can be met. This also includes seats, which fulfil the criteria of AGR e. V. The modern control and display system is characterised, amongst other things, by the fact that smartphones can be integrated and the optional multimedia systems can be operated via touchscreens and the multifunction steering wheel. Order in the cab is ensured by the modularly designed stowage compartment concept with easy-to-reach stowage facilities – optionally available with covers – and a clever multifunction box, on which writing tasks can be comfortably completed in the vehicle.
