Body Mounting Directives

As a manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, Daimler AG will provide you (the bodybuilder) with body/equipment mounting directives containing key technical information on Mercedes-Benz basic vehicles. This information must be observed by bodybuilders when manufacturing attachments, mounted parts, installed parts or modified parts for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Here you will also find an additional instruction manual and installation instructions for taxis.

The body/equipment mounting directives are available in (Acrobat) pdf format. If the required Reader software is not installed on your computer, you can download it by following the Adobe link in the Mercedes-Benz bodybuilder portal.

To access the correct bodybuilder directive, first select the required commercial vehicle segment on the left-hand side of the menu. Then select the required language and model and click "Continue" to start downloading.

Please note that the combined body/equipment mounting directives file is up to 10 MB in size. It may therefore take some time to download the document and open it in your browser.
