It's all thanks to nanotechnology:Countless microscopically small ceramic particles form an invisible protective shield for your car. This results in a threefold increase in scratch resistance, a more lustrous finish and even greater value retention through long-term quality.
Mercedes-Benz has repeatedly put the effectiveness of the new paint finish to the test – through standardised trials which simulate countless car-wash cycles, for example. The result: the dulling effect on the nano-particle clearcoat is less than half of that measured on a conventional clearcoat finish. Which just goes to show that, even though the ceramic particles are only a billionth of meter long, they make a very big difference. |
