Telephone, navigation and audio functions can be combined in one user-friendly interface with the COMAND APS control and display system. Whether you wish to listen to the radio, call someone on the phone, play a CD or be guided quickly and easily to your destination, COMAND APS is always at your service.

The optionally available Harman Kardon® Logic 7® audio system with its twelve high-output loudspeakers and the Logic 7® multi-channel surround sound technology bring the highest sound quality to your R-Class. Because here you can set the surround sound reproduction individually. Thanks to high-tech developments such as MOST, which can improve the sound quality of imperfect recordings, and the 11-channel DSP amplifier, the surround sound system is a real star.

And with the optional rear-seat entertainment system, your R-Class becomes a travelling cinema. It consists of a CD/DVD player, seven-inch screens integrated in the head restraints, two sets of headphones and a remote control unit. A TV tuner is also available as an option (only in conjunction with COMAND APS and the rear-seat entertainment system) and a games console can be connected to each screen.
