R-Class: Long-wheelbase version

Measuring just under five metres in length, the R-Class already demonstrates its superb all-round qualities. But if you want more, opt for the long-wheelbase version, which is 23.5 centimetres longer. It has many advantages: with six or seven people on board, for example, the passengers in the second and third rows will enjoy greater legroom comfort. And even with the third seat row the luggage compartment still offers even more room for your belongings – 414 litres of load capacity up to the roof, to be precise. The R 300 is only available as a long-wheelbase version.

  • Capacity of the 5-seater: 1118 litres for the 4+2-seater and 1067 litres for the 5+2-seater – which is179 litres more than in the standard version if only the first and second seat row are used. You have around 1.10 metres of load compartment depth at your disposal.
  • The second seat row: the seats in the second row can be moved individually to create a gap of up to 990 mm from the front seat row, which is comparable to the spaciousness and comfort found in luxury saloons.
  • As a two-seater with a folding rear-seat bench: the long-wheelbase version provides a maximum capacity of 2436 litres in the 5-seat configuration or 2385 litres in the 4+2 and 5+2-seater versions (435 litres over the standard version).
  • Maximum load compartment length: as a two-seater with folding rear seat bench the maximum load compartment length is around 2.19 metres – enough space for a surfboard, mountain bike or any number of holiday souvenirs.
