The Sprinter diesel engines OM 651 and OM 642 are available only for vehicles in countries that apply the exhaust standard Euro V (or Euro 5) Gr. III. Vehicles with the exhaust categories Euro 3 and Euro IV Gr. III are also available outside Europe.
In conjunction with standard-specification commercial vehicle registration, all model variants with OM 651 (Euro V) or OM 642 (Euro V) diesel engines are also optionally available with the consumption/emission-reducing BlueEFFICIENCY package. The efficiency package is included as standard with passenger car registration.
