CDI engines. New dimensions in diesel
In addition to the three 4-cylinder CDI engines, the Vito also features a V6 CDI. Whether you opt for this top-of-range engine with 150 kW/204 hp or one of the CDI versions with 70 kW/95 hp, 85 kW/116 hp (or 80 kW/109 hp for the 111 CDI 4x4) or 110 kW/150 hp, you can always rely on the highest level of engine performance.
Impressive torque characteristics – up to 440 Nm at the top end – and the consistent use of leading-edge technology guarantee a dynamic response. This is ably demonstrated by the new piezo diesel injectors for all 4-cylinder CDI engines in conjunction with rear-wheel drive and for the V6 CDI. They significantly reduce fuel consumption, pollutant emissions and engine noise – whilst at the same time delivering enhanced engine performance, smooth running and a perfectly coordinated engine transmission unit.
V6 petrol engine. Powerful and emissions-optimised
Slick engine running and an exhilarating driving experience: the smooth cutting-edge V6 Vito petrol engine, with its 3.5-litre displacement, has already featured in various Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. Offering 190 kW/258 hp, the petrol engine is an exciting option – whether you’re driving the Vito for work or for pleasure.
An emission control with cutting-edge technology provides careful handling of valuable resources, which in turn means the V6 engine meets the most current emission control level of EU4/I.
